Why This Resource Exists
St. Martin Parish presents a real routing challenge. The 16th JDC spans three parishes. The Clerk's local COTT service is subscription based. The statewide eClerksLA layer does not cover every city, traffic, sealed, juvenile, or federal record. Municipal and ward courts keep their own files. The useful first step is therefore to identify the court and record class before opening a portal or requesting a copy.
Our pages organize the official Clerk, court, and statutory sources that explain these distinct access paths. They do not replace the current instruction from the court or clerk that actually holds a file.
What Is Available Here
- Docket routing: district criminal and civil record paths, city-court distinctions, and appellate or federal separation.
- Search information: COTT subscription access, Certified Dates, and the limited statewide criminal-minute channel.
- Settings and calendars: the difference between an official calendar link, a recurring city schedule, and an individual court setting.
- Record requests: Clerk contact details, copy routes, custody rules, and access-law context.
- City pages: separate routes for Breaux Bridge, Broussard, Morgan City, and St. Martinville.
What This Resource Cannot Do
St. Martin Parish Court Docket is privately operated and has no connection to a government agency or court. It cannot search a court database for someone, change a hearing date, remove or seal a record, issue a certified copy, or give legal advice. The Clerk or court holding the original file remains the official source.
A court docket is a public-information reference tool, not an official court record. Verify a setting, fee, status, or copy request with the court or clerk that maintains the matter.
Search Partners
Some content pages include a third-party sponsored search widget. Its provider operates that service and controls its results, prices, and data practices. Any referral revenue may support this private reference resource. The widget is not a St. Martin Parish court system, does not replace an official Clerk or court channel, and should never be used for FCRA-regulated decisions.
